We all agree sex feels great. The cocktail of feel-good chemicals released throughout the brain and body delivering pleasure in the purest sense – is euphoria. Sex is the best thing in the world.

It’s no surprise that we like sex. That’s not all, sex aside from being pleasurable has a slew of health benefits. The perks of sex, masturbation included, extend beyond the bedroom.

Studies found individuals who have sex more often have higher levels of Immunoglobulin A, one of our system’s top antibodies at the first line of defence against dreaded cold viruses. Rolling in the hay just once or twice a week has shown a difference as high as 30 percent from those who have sex on a rarer occasion.

7. Boosts libido

Are you suffering from a low libido? Believe it or not, the best antidote for a diminishing libido is -have more sex. Having sex actually boosts desire. Sex boosts vaginal lubrication, blood flow to the vagina, and elasticity of the tissues, all of which make for better, more pleasurable sex and heightened libido.
